All central state government bodies, independent agencies, institutions as well as other authorities competent for specific administrative areas and activities are responsible for the implementation of e-Croatia Programme. Thereby is the Central State Administrative Office for e-Croatia appointed by, the Government of the Republic of Croatia to coordinate the implementation of measures and activities which incite and monitor the development of information society.
e-Croatia Programme implementation plan for 2009 clearly defines activities, measures and projects to be implemented by competent authorities in order to meet the set goals, including their holders and implementation deadlines. Activities are carried out in several areas, from stimulation of the development of electronic public services and contents, such as eGovernment, eJustice, eEducation, eHeathcare, and eBusiness, to establishing safe, fast and reliable broadband infrastructure to support such services and contents.
Pursuant to this year's Plan, competent authorities will, by the end of 2009, implement a series of in total 191 measures focused on raising the level of informatisation of public government services for citizens and companies. Besides the implementation of new projects, the implementation of 2008 activities, which have not yet been implemented within the planned deadline, will also continue.
Thereby, all activities related to stimulation and monitoring of development of the information society will be coordinated and monitored by the Central State Administrative Office for e-Croatia. The Central State Administrative Office for e-Croatia will inform the Croatian Government on its results.
