eGovernment strategy is directed towards determination and continuous implementation of standardised procedures for planning, procurement and maintenance of equipment required for individual job posts and central computer equipment but also separate for regular business operations in office, i.e. for specialised business tasks within the scope of individual bodies (healthcare protection, internal affairs, environment protection, etc.). Thereby, it is necessary to examine possibilities for better quality procurement system and model of simple electronic forms for state government bodies operations. The lowest permitted level of disposal of IT resources to outsource companies must be specially determined in these processes. Current status of IT resources in state government bodies (TDU) is such that there are great differences in the level of awareness among individual bodies. Therefore, the main task of this pilot project is to establish and build the unique methodology for monitoring current status and level of awareness of TDU. This project will enable the establishment of the unique methodology for collection of data on computer resources used by state government bodies. The main reason for the implementation of this project is the establishment of the system for monitoring information-communication equipment, its life span and functional compatibility within conditions of fast development of computer technology.
