The goal was to enable broadband access to new users in households, educational, cultural and healthcare institutions. The number of connections realised pursuant to these granted incentive for the development of broadband infrastructure in areas with insufficient interest for development and investment into the broadband Internet access infrastructure amounted to 15,310 by the end of 2008.
